update: travel grants for 5 participants

Dear everyone,

I am happy to announce you that the Belgian Development Cooperation will finance participation of at least 5 experts.

Eligibility criteria for those five travel grants are:

  • You are from a Low or Middle-Income country (LMIC) and are currently resident in a LMI
  •  You are directly involved in a RBF or Family Planning program at country level
  • You speak English fluently (the meeting will be in English)
  • You have formally contacted agencies involved in PBF or Family Planning programs in your country and they have responded negatively to your request for sponsorship.

All the application process for these grants is also managed through Collectivity. Deadline for application is the same (July 2nd).

Decision on the fellowship will be under the responsibility of the core group of the organizing committee (see names above). Your application letter and your Collectivity profile will be the main sources of information for the selection. Selected candidates will be informed early July.

The grant, provided by ITM, will cover: travel from airport to airport, a per diem and hotel nights in Antwerp.

Important: We expect to accept at least 10 experts from the South for the meeting.  We still strongly recommend experts from the South to look first for a local funding from agencies and projects.

Feel free to contact me if you have any question.
