I am a Health Economist from the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp in Belgium with a passion for public health research and advocacy. I investigate the economic and financial impact of disease in order to propose cost-effective and sustainable solutions which improve access and outcomes. The projects on which I collaborate at the moment focus on Belgium, Slovenia, Cambodia and West Africa. I also teach health economics and financing. My past research projects were in business intelligence, science, technology & innovation and involved working with Multilateral Organisations, the Private Sector, Academia, Government and NGOs. Countries covered include Burundi, Comoros, China, Kenya, Mozambique, Mauritius, South Africa, Tanzania, UK and Uganda.
