Alexandre was born on the 7th of January 1981 in Burundi where he grew up and done the primary and secondary studies in scientific section. Alexandre attended the National Institute of Public Health in Bujumbura, where he completed the Bachelor degree of Science in Nursing. Experienced in Performance Based Financing since 2010, especially in its verification function, he completed a distance learning of Master of Arts degree in International Public Health at Madison International Institute and Business school, United State of America. Much later, he went on to complete an international internship in Economics of Health Systems in the framework of the Initiation to Research for Strengthening Health Systems at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. He evolved with the jobs in the international organizations that work in the field of health financing at intermediate level of Burundi Health System. He teaches in Private Universities since 2013. Alexandre NIMUBONA then went on to study Global Human Resource Management at National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development in New Delhi, India. He is currently working as a Performance Based Financing Evaluator in Health Facilities with the funding of the World Bank at the Ministry of Public Health and the fight Against Aids. Critical and scientific thinking, cultural variation and decision-making are the major areas addressed. Learning was about common illnesses and the patterns of disease, in order to understand the processes of illness and healing. Ways in which nurses may affect change in an ill person and communities are also investigated. Emphasis is placed on understanding the commonalities in a variety of diseases. Competencies acquired are centered on understanding the relationship between diseases and symptoms that may help in diagnosing the public health problem. Focus is on the promotion of healthy behaviors. All those have been put into practice by teaching in secondary and high schools, exercising as a nurse practitioner and working as a performance controller of health facilities.
