Will Story has over 15 years of experience in global public health focused on program design, program evaluation, and operations research related to maternal, newborn and child health in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. He completed his PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy (2013) and his MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education (2004) from the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. Dr. Story is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Behavioral Health at the University of Iowa’s College of Public Health where he studies household- and community-level factors that are critical to the improvement of maternal and child health in resource-poor countries and translates that research into effective interventions and policies. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles using both quantitative and qualitative methods to examine community-based interventions related to male engagement and strengthening social capital in the context of community development initiatives.
