About Catherine Korachais

Health economist (PhD), with strong background in quantitative analyses. Recently I have performed impact analyses on performance based financing schemes (Benin, PBF applied to nutrition in Burundi), and on health equity funds (in Cambodia). Among my current interests: how we measure quality in health care systems, and how we take this into account within financing mechanisms; how should we finance family planning (cf. systematic review on user fees); what is the impact of economic crises on health outcomes and how to cope with it.
