I am a Dutch health systems expert with 25 years of work experience in design, management, monitoring and evaluation of health, nutrition and HIV programmes in developing countries (anglophone, francophone and lusophone Africa, Asia, Middle East) for national governments and international development organisations (including United Nations, multilateral and bilateral donors, and international and national NGOs). I have a MSc PH / ECON degree in Public Health, specialisation in national health system policy, planning and financing with focus on health sector reform and institutional development, of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics. I also have MSc degree in Political Science at the Institut d'Etudes Poliques (Science Po) in Paris, and a graduate degree in Business Studies and Middle Eastern Studies. I have been working as freelance consultance for the past 17 years.
