In June 2016, a small group of experts launched an initiative to address the current deficit in women participation within their Communities of Practice: the "Gender Balance" working group (see elsewhere on Collectivity), was born.
After several months of preparatory work, the group is about to launch a survey targeting the members of two CoPs. Members will be invited to complete an online survey that will identify the barriers to women participation. Without their contribution, it will be impossible for us to establish a rigorous documentation of the current situation and therefore to draw up a plan of action.
Respondents to the questionnaire are invited to value the time they spent on this collective documentation effort, and to keep track of their contribution by registering for this activity on “Collectivity”. Individual responses to the survey will remain strictly anonymous and confidential.
The task assigned to the expert joining this project is very simple: it’s just about completing the online survey “Gender balance”.
The eligibility for this project is appreciated a posteriori: it is open only to CoP experts contacted to complete the survey (there is a sampling) and who have indeed completed the online survey.
