Morocco has embarked on a process of reforming its health system to meet the challenge of Universal Health Coverage. In support of this reform process, a Health System Strengthening Support Program was developed in partnership with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

The Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning project is a key component of this support program. It was developed as part of a partnership between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Department of Public Health of the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp (ITM).

Within the framework of this MOH and ITM project, six Action Learning Groups (ALG) will be initiated. An ALG can be defined as a multi-stakeholder problem-solving and innovation group. It functions as a learning organization in miniature and can therefore serve as a practice laboratory for good learning practices, before wider dissemination in the system, in particular by the members of the group who have been able to appreciate these good practices. This ALG is devoted to Collective Intelligence .

This Collectivity project is intended for Moroccan experts involved in the Collective Intelligence Action Learning Group and international experts who will be invited to collaborate during the process.

The Intelligence Collective ALG has set itself the objective, by May 2018: to carry out a diagnosis on the management of knowledge within the health administration; to set up and animate an open digital platform; to produce the first complete proposal for a knowledge management strategy for the Ministry of Health; to participate in the organization of the UHC partnership conference to be held in Marrakech.

In close collaboration with the other members of the ALG, you will contribute to this project by:

  • leading the collective learning agenda to achieve this goal
  • actively participating in the different learning activities of the ALG (meetings, webinars, training, field visits, document production, blog writing...)
  • assuming the co-direction of your ALG
  • contributing and reacting to the ALF online forum (sharing of experience, documents, answers to questions from other members...)
  • keeping your hierarchy informed of the achievements and learning that emerge from your ALG
  • sharing the work of the ALG with the different stakeholders in Morocco
  • contributing to the general documentation of the project and the effectiveness of the ALG strategy.

You are passionate about knowledge management.

  • You are an expert in the national health system and have been identified by the Ministry of Health of Morocco as a member of this ALG.
  • You have been identified by the ALG as a resource person to help the ALG to achieve its objective.
