Inside The Community:
Dear Community Health CoP,
I would like to invite you to collaborate to explore ways in which community health can be better supported to ensure delivery of essential health services during (and after) COVID-19.
HIFA is collaborating with WHO on this issue over the next 11 months. Our focus is on the maintenance of essential health services (other than COVID-19 itself, eg immunisation, maternal and child health, primary care, NCDs, emergency care...) that have been negatively disrupted by the pandemic.
In what ways have community health services been disrupted in your community or your country? Which services have been most affected and what, if any, solutions have been found?
It would be great to learn from your observations, either here on Community Health CoP or on HIFA. Or you can email me on neil@hifa.org
